  • Kentikelenis, Panagiotis

    announcer’s last call—
    saying goodbye
    with trembling legs

    unsigned—
    Santa Claus asked to bring
    a mommy back

    first bell—
    school girls brag about
    their summer loves

  • Kentikelenis, Panagiotis

    alone at the park—
    familiar magpie
    faces

    piss on the bed—
    grandpa begs
    to help him die

    no photo—
    searching for her son
    in broken English

  • Kentikelenis, Panagiotis

park bench all his food already chewed by someone

smell of soup she waits in clothes just found

coldest night the brothel’s door half-open

as if dreaming the cocoon shakes to give birth

unpacking some of her hair brought along

endless rain the few whores die for eye contact

  • Kentikelenis, Panagiotis

    closed brothels—
    on his death notice two
    possible birthyears
