    bindweed
    blossoms quiver in the breeze
    do not see them
    as weeds to be uprooted,
    cherish their open faces

    deciphering
    another script of life
    in the dark
    etching of linden boughs
    this limegreen April dawn

    mistral wind
    this May afternoon
    howling

contain your anger  and see its origin
is it envy manque d'affection -
all  these poisons can be cured
look for your sister now the sun
who has hidden from  your rage
and ask her to come forth again to heal
and warm all that is  torn and wounded

    cirrus clouds
    a pale yellow peony
    perseveres

    even taking
    a quantum leap,
    what does he mean
    "we are nothing but
    a bunch of chemicals"

    nobody knows what to do
    with their eyes
