Željka Vučinić-Jambrešić graduated from the Faculty of Economy, Zagreb, and works as financial director. She is president of folk dance assembly Insula Ivanich, and Haiku Association Three Rivers, both in Ivanić Grad. Jambrešić's poetry has won numerous awards in Croatia and abroad. She published a haiku collection in Croatian, English, and Japanese, titled From the Sun to the Moon.
