Dubravko Korbus was born in 1964 in Ivanić Grad where he lives and works. He writes poetry and prose, his haiku being written in standard Croatian and Kajkavian dialect. For his haiku he received a number of awards in Croatia, USA and Japan. In 2007 he published a book of haiku, haibuns, poetry, essays and short stories under the title Today the Sun Is Bigger than Yesterday.
